What is mustang-guided coaching?
Mustangs are masters of the present moment. They have not been dulled down by generations of domestication. All of the horses at Desert Gemini were born in the wild and spent a good portion of their life living wild. While all horses are master teachers, the mustangs are especially powerful because their sixth sense is still fully in tact; it has been an essential component of their survival. They read energy, emotion, and intention with extraordinary precision — and they respond to who you are, not who you're pretending to be. The mustangs can guide you to unlock insights, inspiration and a level of knowing that you haven't been able to access in other ways.

Discovery Session
Your first step into the work. We'll spend time getting to know each other — you, me, and the mustangs. You'll leave with a felt sense of what this work is and whether it's right for you.

Single Coaching Session
A deep-dive session focused on a specific question, challenge, or area of your life. We'll work with the horses to illuminate what's present and open new pathways forward.

Coaching Series
The deepest and most powerful opportunity. Over six sessions, we track themes, patterns, and growth across time. This is where lasting change happens.

What to expect
Every session is different. Every session is yours.
We begin with intention
Before we enter the corral, we sit together and get clear on what you're bringing to the session — a question, a feeling, a situation you're navigating. There's no right answer. Just honesty.
The horses take the lead
You'll spend time in the presence of the mustangs — observing, interacting, and noticing what arises. I'll guide you through exercises and invite you to pay attention to what the horses are guiding you to notice.
We make meaning together
After your time with the horses, we debrief. What did you notice? What surprised you? What landed? This is where insight becomes integration — and where the real work begins.
You leave with something real
Not a to-do list. Not a prescription. A felt sense of something true — about yourself, your patterns, your next step. Something the mustangs helped you discover.
Common questions
You don't need any experience with horses.
Do I need to know anything about horses?
Not at all. In fact, people with no horse experience often have the most profound sessions — they come without assumptions and are fully open to what the horses offer.
Will I be riding?
No. All coaching sessions are done on the ground. The work happens in relationship with the horse — not on their back.
Is this therapy?
No. Equine-guided coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment. It's a powerful personal development and coaching modality. If you're working with a therapist, this work can be a beautiful complement.
Where are sessions held?
All sessions take place at Desert Gemini Ranch in Fruita, CO. Exact location is shared upon booking.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dusty. Closed-toe shoes or boots.
